Ben's Story
Before coming to Breakthrough Club, I couldn’t manage my own life. I was constantly going in and out of jails and institutions because I didn’t know how to manage my mental illness or drug addiction. The people at Breakthrough Club helped me to get my first job, which launched my career in sales, and they encouraged me to get my high school diploma. I am now enrolled in college, remain drug and alcohol-free and my symptoms are under control, which has helped me to stay out of jail. Breakthrough Club was the place that believed in me when, to everyone else, I was a hopeless cause.
